The purpose of any agricultural research has always been the identification of production constraints (on-field & external factors) and the potential advantages that can be achieved when such constraints are suppressed. The perception of farmers has been one of the significant components to technological adoption, identification of constraints and efficient management. The decisions farmers make before, during and after production are based on how they perceive these constraints to production. This study provides important areas at which rice production can be expedited from the evidence of constraints faced by the rice farmers in two distinct regions.
