Abstract From 2010 until 2012, waves of protests spread across the Arab countries to the beat of demonstrators’ chants, echoing demands that soon became impossible to ignore: the masses had come together to say loud and clear in the media: “the people want to topple the regime.” These calls for more social justice, effective citizenship, economic opportunities, more political rights, less repression, and more freedom spread almost everywhere: from newspaper headlines to Twitter and Facebook and all other social media; they appeared on protest banners or were simply written on walls: the message was clear and the struggle for a life of dignity was there to stay. In addition, the role of the foreign policy of global power and their interests in the region such as the United States and other western states as well as regional powers all of them had a significant effect to start these events in the Middle East. In this book, we will highlight the role of foreign power whatever in the region or on the other side of the world, moreover what are the hidden motivations that caused these revolutions in this time and this area of the globe.
