Word Stress in Yemeni English

This book gives an introduction to the common problems encountered by Yemeni speakers of English with reference to word stress placement. Besides, it is adequate for learners of English as a foreign language. The stress patterns of English are highlighted in a number of different words presented category-wise. The book assumes pedagogical implications and calls for further research in the area of prominence in Arabic.
