Organic and Peat soil

Peat and organic soils are the two types of soils that ‎consist of organic matters, so they are not suitable for engineering ‎construction projects.‎ Organic and peat soil are not suitable to be used as ‎a foundation for construction because of its different ‎compositions and characteristics, such as low strength, low stability, high moisture content, low ‎bearing capacity, high liquid limit, and so on‎‎. The purpose of this is to highlight problems and ‎pursuing solutions. Also, explaining the properties and ‎characteristics of organic and peat soils and improving its ‎properties so as to be used for construction work.
