Processing Of Edible Coating & Film And Their Application In Food

Edible coating and packaging films for vegetables, fruits and food products. These coating films are processed from organic materials such as: carbohydrates, proteins, fats and its derivatives, also, emulsifying and plasticizing agents was used for preparing these films. However, the produced films are unharmufull for environment since it enzymatically degradated and or it may be directly consumed with the food item. The coating materials may be used for coating vegetables, fruits, meat, fish, chickens and its products.
