English and Kurdish have restricted forms of reflexives and their uses depend on the agreement with the noun phrase that they are in co-referential relations with or co-occur in apposition to. English has nine forms of reflexives ' myself, ourselves, yourself, yourselves, himself, herself, itself, themselves and oneself ', while Kurdish has six forms ' xo-m, xo-t, xo-y, xo-mãn, xo-tãn and xo-yãn'. Reflexives in English are of three types: basic, emphatic and possessive, while they are of four types in Kurdish: basic, emphatic, possessive and personal pronoun.
